Mental health is more than just the absence of mental illness; it is a holistic approach to overall well-being. WPL, Inc. is committed to not only advocating for better mental health care, but also to providing accessible resources that empower individuals, churches, communities, and organizations to promote mental wellness. We aim to create a network of support that champions mental wellness in all its forms. Together, we can make a difference.

Mental Health Education
​WPL, Inc. educates as to mental difference through community engagement, Mental Health First Aid training, seminars, and workshops.
Our network of certified chaplains, licensed clinicians, support groups, and individuals who live with mental difference offers support to those who live with mental difference and their loved ones.

Many in the WPL, Inc. village live with mental difference or have loves ones who do so. Empathy and insight inform our efforts to empower those who live with colors, de-stigmatize mental difference, and build a more compassionate world.

Faith Community Collaboration
Like our founder, a hospital chaplain, WPL, Inc. lives at the nexus of the faith community and secular world. We collaborate with churches to spread the message of mental wellness and educate clergy and congregations about mental difference through Mental Health First Aid training, mental health workshops, and other resources via our sister organization, Heartlight Universal. These efforts afford spiritual and emotional healing and equip churches with a clinically informed understanding of mental difference.
WPL, Inc. provides grief education to clergy and the diaconate that equips them to, like chaplains, provide the sick, terminally ill, and their loved ones grief care that is as theologically and clinically sound.
We partner with churches to establish grief ministries and provide congregants grief support via a network of certified chaplains, clinicians, and grief support groups and Heartlight Universal's grief library and customized grief packets.

Grief Support
WPL, Inc, provides a safe space for those navigating grief and loss. Trained via Clinical Pastoral Education at Bellevue Hospital and NYU Langone Health, Arlette is keen that we offer clinically informed grief support and equip individuals and churches to provide the same.
Our grief library, customized grief packets, workshops, and network of certified chaplains, licensed clinicians, and grief support groups provide the compassion and guidance necessary to heal.
